# The driver profile

> Everything the platform knows about one driver: loan position, payment history, and mobile money transactions.

Select any driver from the roster or from the dashboard to open their profile. This is where you settle questions about a single driver.

## The header

The header carries the driver's status, phone number, vehicle and plate, financing product, and the date they joined. **Edit info** opens the record for changes.

Three actions sit at the top:

| Action           | What it does                                                        |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Send reminder | Sends a payment reminder to this driver |
| Reminder history | Shows every reminder this driver has received |
| Record payment | Records a payment manually, for money received outside mobile money |

<Warning>
  Record a payment manually only when you hold the evidence, for example a cash receipt. A manual entry counts toward collections exactly like a matched mobile money payment.
</Warning>

## The loan position

<ResponseField name="Loan amount" type="RWF">
  The financed amount, with the monthly figure beneath it.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="Balance remaining" type="RWF">
  What is still owed, with an estimate of the months left at the current rate.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="Repayment progress" type="percentage">
  How much of the financed amount has been repaid.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="Days late" type="count">
  How many days behind the driver is, with the date of the most recent shortfall.
</ResponseField>

## Overview

The overview shows the driver's average daily payment, what they have paid this month, how many of their payments were reconciled, and the reconciled rate.

A reconciled rate below 100% means some of this driver's money is sitting unmatched. Check [Reconciliation](/collections/reconciliation) before treating them as behind.

Contact and collection details, last payment date, and total repaid sit underneath.

## Payment history

Every payment recorded against the driver, in date order. This is the record to open when a driver disputes a balance.

## Mobile money transactions

The raw transactions the platform associates with this driver, including the transaction reference. Use this tab when a driver says they paid and the payment history does not show it. If the transaction is here but not in the payment history, it is a matching problem, not a payment problem.

## Notes

Use notes to record what does not fit a field: an agreed catch-up plan, a vehicle off the road, an alternative mobile money account the driver pays from. Whoever handles this driver next will read them.
